The Latin American Foundation for Human Rights and Social Development (FUNDALATIN) was created on June 9, 1978 in Caracas, by Father Juan Vives Suriá, who left an enormous legacy on the defense of Human Rights and which today serves as a bastion for the organization that has gained great space both nationally and internationally, since it is a member of organizations such as the National Human Rights Commission in Venezuela and a CELAC participant.

In addition, this foundation that defends human rights in Venezuela has been characterized by accompanying the Venezuelan people in everything related to this matter, organizing events, formulating proposals, defending cases, among others, with the objective of promoting peace, justice and solidarity.

It is not for nothing that this organization always maintains the motto of its founder in force: “If you want peace, work for Justice”. For this reason, they have been working for 45 years for the defense of Human Rights and justice on the side of the people who need it most.
