From Yaracuy to Paris! Orluis Aular will represent Venezuela at the 2024 Olympic Games in road cycling

The Venezuelan Cycling Federation (FVC) ratified the cyclist Orluis Aular, as the defender of the National Tricolor, in the road cycling event at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
This will be the second Olympic event for the 27-year-old cyclist from Yaracuy state, after participating in Tokyo 2020.
“ It hasn't been easy to get here. I am happy, happy, for the great work I have done over the last few years to achieve the classification. Every athlete wants to compete in the Olympic Games, the ultimate sporting event,” said Aular, according to a press release from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
He also said that it means a lot to him, “I am proud, happy to represent my country. I think I will do a good preparation to leave the name of my country at the top”.
Aular thanked all the people, all the Venezuelans who support him in his sports career and stated that his greatest motivation is his daughter Ainara.
