This Tuesday, April 02, the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, emphasized that “it is high time for the United States to abandon its interventionist and slave pretensions, once again failure is painted on its forehead”.

This was stated by Gil through his account on the social network X, in response to a new intervention by the North American spokesman Brian Nichols, who from Spain dared to question, once again, the Venezuelan elections.

In the message, the Venezuelan foreign minister stressed that “in Spain Mr. Nichols should learn a bit of history, there they know well that # Venezuela ceased to be a colony more than 200 years ago, when under the command of the Liberator Simon Bolivar, the most powerful empire of the time was defeated”.

Nichols published on his social network X, the meeting he held with his counterpart, Susana Sumelzo, a member of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, with whom he allegedly discussed, among other interfering issues against Cuba, “compliance” with the Barbados agreement on future Venezuelan presidential elections.
