The Minister of Popular Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, criticized this Wednesday the interventionist statements of the Argentine government of Javier Milei, regarding the actions of the Venezuelan justice system to neutralize the coup and assassination plans of some extremist sectors of the opposition.

“No! , we are not surprised that the foreign ministry of a Nazi-style government, such as that of Milei, responsible for the greatest mutilation of the rights of its people since the atrocious dictatorships, intends today to become a defender and accomplice of fascists,” Gil said through his account on the social network X, in response to a statement issued by the Argentine diplomatic portfolio.

In the text, the Argentine government spoke out against the arrest by Venezuelan authorities of Henry Alviarez and Dignora Hernández, leaders of Vente Venezuela, involved in plans to destabilize the country.

In this regard, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister denounced the interference of the Argentine State in the internal affairs of the Bolivarian nation. “Worry about your country, stop looking for excuses and diverting Argentineans' attention to the disaster to which they are leading them; they will fail there and here, as they have failed in the past,” he said.

He stressed that “in Venezuela there is a State that works! (...) a strong one, with true institutions that protect the people,” so he reiterated that the Venezuelan justice system will be responsible for determining “the responsibilities of those who have tried to assassinate President Nicolás Maduro and unsuccessfully plunge us into chaos.”
