Foreign Minister Gil questions the silence of “defenders” of human rights in the face of U.S. treatment of minors: Hypocrites!

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, described as hypocritical and irresponsible the total silence of the fascist right, supposed defenders of Human Rights, in the face of the actions of the North American empire, which will judge a minor as an adult.

This was emphasized by Gil, through his account on the social network Telegram, when referring to a publication by the EFE agency, that the 14-year-old teenager, responsible for the recent shooting in Georgia, will be tried as an adult.

“Hypocrisy and irresponsibility of the fascist right and its allies, many of them embedded in multilateral systems,” he said.

He stressed that in the United States minors are tried as adults, in the face of “total silence on the part of the 'defenders' of Human Rights.”

“Where are the defenders of the rights of Children and Adolescents?” , he questioned.

He argued that these sectors “will continue to attack Venezuelan democracy and defend imperial aggressors and transgressors”, despite the fact that in Venezuela “legal protocols are applied and adjusted to international treaties, to guarantee peace”.

Faced with this, he emphasized that “we will follow our democratic commitment and protection of human rights, whatever they do, but without falling into their gross blackmail.”
