The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, highlighted the resolution approved by the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), with 124 votes in favor, 14 against and 43 abstentions, demanding that Israel end its illegal presence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

Through his account on the social network Telegram, Gil points out that “this resolution establishes a deadline of 12 months for it to be implemented, based on the opinion of the International Court of Justice on the consequences of the Israeli occupation, which is currently carrying out a genocide in Gaza, which will reach one year in October”.

In the message, the foreign minister emphasized that “it is not surprising that the governments of the United States, Israel and Argentina have voted against this measure.”

He argued that “at present, these countries are the leaders of the international fascist cartel that represents a serious threat to humanity.”
