Foreign Minister Gil against fires in Chile: We are ready to provide the necessary support

The country's minister of popular power for foreign relations, Yván Gil, assured that fire officials from the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela “are ready to provide the necessary support” in the face of the vegetation fires that are raging in Chile.

From the social network X, the representative of Venezuelan diplomacy wrote "On instructions from President @NicolasMaduro, I have held a telephone conversation with Minister @AlbertoKlaveren, expressing the solidarity of the Venezuelan people and government in the face of the terrible wave of forest fires currently raging in Chile, we are ready to provide the necessary support in such a difficult circumstance”.

According to international news agencies, at least 10 people have died and about 1,000 homes have been affected by forest fires near the city of Viña del Mar.
