For the first time in his career! Renato Núñez wins the LVBP Player of the Week award

The Navegantes del Magallanes player, Renato Núñez, was chosen as the Player of the First Week of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP).

It is the first time in his career in Venezuelan baseball that Núñez has won the distinction, after shooting seven home runs and rowing 13 runs, between October 11 and 20.

The press accredited to cover the incidents of the 2024-2025 campaign supported the Valencian with 100% of the votes when choosing the award.


Núñez , 30, led the circuit's batters in touchdowns, home runs, RBIs, extra bases, pads hit, slugging and OPS, LVBP press review.


Right-handed pitchers Junior Guerra (Magallanes) and Max Castillo ( Cardenales de Lara) were also taken into account in the selection.
