FONACIT celebrates 25 years of promoting development and scientific sovereignty in Venezuela

The National Fund for Science, Technology and Innovation (FONACIT) commemorated its 25th anniversary this Friday with an institutional event in the “Hugo Chávez Frías” Auditorium of the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM). During the meeting, a well-deserved tribute was paid to the trajectory of the institution's technical, administrative and professional staff, through the delivery of buttons and certificates for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years of uninterrupted work.

According to information provided by the Minister of Popular Power for Science and Technology, Yván Gil, through his official channels, “we have had the honor of accompanying the workers and authorities of FONACIT in commemorating its 25-year history.

Gil on his Telegram channel highlighted that “the technical, professional and human efforts of Fonacit continue to be a fundamental pillar in strengthening the scientific ecosystem of the Nation”, also expressing the recognition of all the institution's human talent for this quarter of a century of achievements achieved in the service of the country.
