For its part, the Venezuelan Football League (Liga FUTVE) posted an emotional message on its account on the social network X: “It's very sad to say goodbye to the first big crack in Venezuelan football, but a ball on his feet was a joy for everyone who enjoyed seeing him on a court, and with joy we will remember him”.

He also said that there are numbers, facts and anecdotes that speak of his talent and everything he did for his country and for the Venezuelan player in his twenty-year professional career, “his human quality deepened that legacy, because then he never tired of teaching, of transmitting what he knew. He didn't stop playing with a lot of class either!”

“To your family and friends, a big hug at this time of pain. Know that we share your sorrow just as we share that remaining pride,” said the FUTVE League.
