Five years after the Battle of Los Puentes: “The People of Venezuela were born to be victors”

On the 5th anniversary of the Battle of the Bridges, which took place on February 23, 2019 when the coup leader Juan Guaidó, with the support of national and international private media, promoted an interventionist campaign against Venezuela, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, highlighted the courage of the people in the face of imperial aggression.

“They don't know Venezuelans (...) and anyone who tries to harm our soil will come out with defeat marked on their forehead forever, because the People of Venezuela were born to to be a winner and not to be defeated,” said Cabello at the commemorative ceremony of the popular victory, from the state of Táchira.

That day, the United States (USA), its allies in the region and the national stateless right, tried to invade the country with the excuse of supposed “humanitarian aid”.

However, the people went to the Tienditas bridge (on the border with Colombia), Ureña municipality, Táchira state, to stop with their courage and in a civic-military-police union the terrorists who aimed to undermine sovereignty of the Fatherland.
