The governor of the state of Aragua, Karina Carpio, reported on new forest fires registered in the Henri Pittier National Park that are being put down by the region's Civil Protection and Disaster Management, other officials and volunteers.
Carpio indicated through his account on the social network X that, in a civic-military union, 130 people are putting out the fires to prevent the spread of the spread.
“There is a lot of anguish, but let Aragua be sure that we are doing the job,” he said.
