Dozens of fire service personnel mobilized on the streets of Paris, France to demand improvements in their working conditions, greater allocation of budgetary resources and a wage adjustment adjusted to the operational requirements and risks of their work.

The peaceful demonstration started from the immediate vicinity of the Plaza de la República in the direction of the Ministry of the Interior, where trade union organizations in the sector delivered a list of demands focused on increasing the number of staff and the cessation of the physical aggressions they suffer during emergency care on public roads.

Union representatives pointed out that overwork and the lack of modern equipment have diminished the capacity for immediate response, so they urged the Government of France to set up urgent negotiating tables to meet the institution's labor demands.

The fire brigade warned that it will maintain the protest agenda and the call for a strike if government authorities do not provide concrete answers within a reasonable time to the resource crisis affecting the country's relief services.
