FILVEN will open its doors in Bolívar state from February 12 to 14

The 20th International Book Fair of Venezuela (FILVEN) will open its doors in the spaces of the historic center of Ciudad Bolívar, Bolivar state, from February 12 to February 14.

Under the motto Reading Transforms, the literary festival will honor regional writers Yusmira García and Saúl Rivas; it will also be attended by renowned local writers and scholars, as well as national guests, together with readers and the general public.

The writers Armando Carías, social communicator and playwright, and Cósimo Mandrillo, researcher and teacher, will attend as national guests.

FILVEN tours Venezuela with the motto Reading transforms and allows visitors to access a variety of titles of all genres, including news from public, private and independent publishers, including the publishers attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture (MPPC): The Dog and the Frog, Monte Ávila and the Ayacucho Library.
