FILVEN will arrive in Portuguesa with more than 15 publishers from March 12 to 14

The city of Guanare, Portuguese state, is preparing to host the twentieth edition of the Venezuelan International Book Fair (FILVEN), which will take place from March 12 to 14 and will feature the participation of 19 national publishers and 10 regional stands.
This meeting for lovers of reading, writers and the general public, will offer an extensive cultural program in three venues such as: Casacoima, the vice-rectorate of Unellez and the Bajareque multipurpose room, Casa de Arte.
In addition, within the framework of FILVEN, the Autonomous Intellectual Property Service (SAPI) will hold a day to register works by copyright for cultors, as part of the agreement with the Gran Misión Viva Venezuela Mi Patria Querida.
The director of the Cabinet of the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture in the territorial entity, Rubén Uzcátegui, invited to participate in the cultural corridor, which will extend from the headquarters of the Legislative Council to Casacoima (old El Estanco street), starting at 9:00 in the morning of Wednesday, March 12.
Uzcátegui reported that this edition will pay tribute to two outstanding writers from the region, Ángela Marín and Olinto Calanche. “The Great Viva Venezuela Mission is committed to recognizing the work of our heritages,” he said.
