The School of Living Arts Festival plans to
extend its programming to all the communes and communal circuits of the state of
Miranda, after going from 96 communes participating in its first edition to
approximately 468 in the third, said the Deputy Minister of Culture, Gabriela Simoza.
During the Great Cultural Assembly,
held at the Museum of Popular Art of Petare Bárbaro Rivas, creators,
cultivators and organizers exchanged proposals to expand community
participation and promote artistic training in the territories.
Simoza noted that the new call
seeks to incorporate talents, groups and cultural promoters to consolidate
the meeting as a permanent space for learning and organization. “For
this new call, the aspiration is to extend activities to all the Mirandino
Communes and Communal Circuits,” he said.
The assembly made it possible
to coordinate actions to strengthen training processes from communities and promote
spaces for theater and other artistic expressions.
