Fernando “Bocha” Batista: We're going to go get the three points against Chile

The technical director of Vinotinto, Fernando “Bocha” Batista, assured that his boys will go out looking with all three points against Chile.

“We know the needs that Chile has, but we also have them to be in the qualifying zone,” said Batista, during a press conference from Santiago.

He asserted that, to finish the year in the best way, “we need the win”.

Batista pointed out that he is not looking at whether Venezuela has not won a visit for 7 years. “The win is needed, as it was needed at home and we will fight,” he said.

“We're going to try to get the ball out of them as long as possible, not to give them the chance to have their game,” the coach reviewed the rival, Vinotinto press reported.

He also added that it is necessary to divide the game according to the moments, to have more in the middle zone than the rival and to be careful with the players in the hierarchy they have.

Vinotinto will face Chile this Tuesday, November 19, in their last match of 2024 for the World Cup qualifiers.
