More than 1.4 tons of drugs were seized in Falcón state, in a joint operation between French Customs and the National Anti-Drug Superintendency (SNA).

Through a publication published by the Ministry of Interior Relations, Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP), it became known that military personnel from the National Anti-Drug Command of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), with the support of the ARB Naval Aviation and the Coastal Surveillance Command, managed to arrest three citizens who seized 1,735 packs of drugs.

In this regard, it was detailed that the drug had a gross weight of 1,494,362 kilograms, distributed in nine pots containing 8,856 kg of cocaine and 1,726 pans containing 1,485,506 kg of marijuana.

“The action took place after the interception of a Go Fast type fast boat off the Falconi coast, where the stash was being transported. The effectiveness of the operational procedure was the result of the joint and inter-institutional deployment in the frontal fight against transnational drug trafficking mafias,” reported the MPPRIJP.
