FANB seized 5,000 pieces of iron that would be used for illegal mining

In Bolívar state, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) seized 5,000 pieces of iron called mill hammers that would allegedly be used for illegal mining, reported the strategic operational commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Through his X account, the senior military officer indicated that the material, built of railways, was being transported illegally in two dump trucks.

For this incident, as detailed by Hernández Lárez, 3 citizens were arrested and placed under the command of the public prosecutor's office.
