FANB protects Popular Consultation with 130,000 members in the country

The General Staff of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) oversees from the command post of the Strategic Operational Commander (CEO-FANB) the development of the Republic Plan during the Second National Popular Consultation, a day with the participation of 130,000 military personnel, citizen security agencies and the Bolivarian Militia in the entire national territory.

The joint directors of the military institution are monitoring in real time how the security operation is carried out during the day called Venezuela Toda Vota, in which citizens choose projects for communes and condominiums.

This security operation seeks to guarantee the normal development of the electoral process in the more than 11,000 authorized voting centers nationwide. The deployment of the FANB and security forces supports logistics for citizens to exercise their right to vote in an orderly manner.

The military institution indicated that the staff has been active since the early hours of the morning, guarding the electoral material and providing support to the basic electoral commissions in each of the country's communal circuits.
