The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) incinerated 470 kilos of cocaine found in a camp owned by the Colombian Armed Terrorist Drug Trafficking Organizations (TANCOL) in the state of Zulia.

This was reported by the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, who explained that the uniformed personnel also destroyed 8 TANCOL camps installed in the Semprún municipality of the state of Zulia.

“The camps associated with transnational drug trafficking were built in areas of the Venezuelan countryside, consisting of 4 logistics centers, an educational area, an agricultural field and 2 warehouses for the storage of products and derivatives of cocaine hydrochloride,” said the senior military official.

In the same way, he indicated that these spaces were built in areas that were difficult to access to take advantage of the camouflage that gallery forests can provide them and thus hide themselves from the authorities.

“It should also be noted that three (03) clandestine runways used for surreptitious extraction were also disabled, with the entry of hostile planes, using the national territory as a platform,” he said.
