FANB expressed its unrestricted support for the anti-corruption actions taken by the Government

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) confirmed its unrestricted support for the actions taken by the National Government to combat corruption in the country.

Through a statement signed by the Minister of Defense, G/J Vladimir Padrino López, the military institution reaffirmed its “absolute loyalty” to the values of honesty, justice and transparency promoted by the Bolivarian Project.

Below is the full statement:

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces, in unrestricted adherence to its traditions and ethical principles, strongly and unequivocally supports all the actions being carried out by the Bolivarian Government and the Public Ministry, in the relentless fight against corruption; specifically, those related to the recent arrests of former public officials who rudely and aberrantly lacerated the national heritage, through their own acts, and even worse, by establishing links with unscrupulous businessmen and imperialist organizations North American, to exploit actions of financial sabotage, which have significantly affected the country's political, economic and social stability.

As never before, patriotic soldiers adhere to the wise statement of our Supreme Commander when referring to the fight against this scourge: “It is a real, relentless, sustained, relentless war to the death (...) That is the first line of the revolution”. In this regard, we reiterate that we will continue to strictly comply with the guidelines and orders of citizen Nicolás Maduro Moros, Constitutional President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, our Commander in Chief, in everything concerning the eradication of any immoral practice in the management of public resources, which will benefit and protect the legitimate interests of the noble Venezuelan people, thus contributing to consolidating the democratic and social State of Law and Justice contemplated in our Magna Carta.

In this titanic battle, we reaffirm our absolute loyalty to the values of honesty, justice and transparency promoted by the Bolivarian Project, always committed to defending the sovereignty, peace, independence and supreme happiness of the sons and daughters of this great nation.
