FANB dismantled structure for illegal mining in Morroco state of Amazonas

In the Morroco sector of the state of Amazonas, members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) destroyed a structure used for illegal mining, said the Operational Strategic Commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Through a message published in his X account, the senior military officer assured that four motorcycles were seized in the aforementioned space; six 70-liter plastic containers for fuel storage; a 220-liter plastic container for fuel storage; three carpets for collecting gold material; a gas cylinder; two motorcycle wheels; a freezer; two digital television devices (Directv); four 13-hp motorcycle pumps; two hydrojets; 10 4-inch PVC tubes; 30 meters of high-pressure hose; a battery charger; two point-to-point radios with their charger; 150 kilograms of food items.

“Land in the national territory is not negotiated, it is not sold and it cannot be alienated. National parks and forest areas must be protected by all citizens, since they are under the special conservation protection regime of the Venezuelan State,” said the senior military official.
