Patrolling and scrutiny efforts allowed the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) to detect and destroy a logistics camp to provide supplies for illegal mining in the sector called “December mine” in the Amazonas state.

This was reported by the strategic operational commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, through his X account where he explained that a 13.5 HP bomb was detected and destroyed; Two plastic containers of 220 liters of gasoline-type fuel; Three plastic containers of 60 liters of diesel fuel; Two 2500 watt power plants; A cable television system (Directv); A Starlink satellite internet system; 500 kilograms of food; Eight boxes of lubricating oil; Two toolboxes; Four portable radios.

“Land in the national territory is not negotiated, it is not sold and it cannot be alienated. National parks and forest areas must be protected by all citizens, since they are under the special conservation protection regime of the Venezuelan State,” said the senior military official.
