FANB dismantled illegal mining camp on the banks of the Caroní River

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) detected and destroyed an illegal mining camp adjacent to the Macagua reservoir on the banks of the Caroní River in Bolívar state.

This was reported by the strategic operational commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, who explained that the championship had 10 sieves and two thousand meters of four-inch plastic hose for the depredation of the environment.

In the same way, he explained that during this action the uniformed officers apprehended 4 citizens from whom 17 motorbikes, water pumps and six 4-inch turbines were seized.

The detainees were placed under the command of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
