The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) destroyed, in the Caño Carmen sector of the state of Amazonas, a camp used for illegal mining, contrary to the provisions of our legal system, reported the strategic operational commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Through a message posted on his account on the social network X, the senior military officer explained that three 3 HP motors were found and destroyed in the aforementioned space; a power plant; 20 meters of high-pressure hose; a power inverter; a 12 V battery; three horns; a television; a plastic drum containing 220 liters of gasoline.

“This material was intended for the logistical support of illegal mining activities in the area. In the state of Amazonas, according to our territorial legal system, mining and hydrocarbon exploitation is totally prohibited,” said Hernándezh Lárez, while stating that the procedure was notified to the Public Ministry.
