The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) detected and disabled, in the state of Apure, an aircraft allegedly used for illegal drug and arms trafficking activities, reported the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Through a message published in his X account, the senior military officer explained that the aircraft, hidden in a wooded area of the Pedro Camejo municipality in the aforementioned llanera entity, was detected while aircraft from our comprehensive aerospace defense system were carrying out patrolling tasks.

“With the sum of this unused aircraft, 379 aircraft have been legally seized by the FANB in the exercise of national sovereignty since 2012 to date,” said the senior military official.
