During patrolling and searching, officers of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) detected and destroyed two rafts used for illegal mining, reported the strategic commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Through a message posted on his Instagram account, the senior military officer explained that the boats were found in the vicinity of the Macagua reservoir, Caroní municipality in the state of Bolívar.

“Venezuela is a territory of peace, law and justice where nature and ecosystems are protected daily,” Hernández Lárez emphasized.
