During patrolling, reconnaissance and scrutiny in the Monte Oscura sector on the banks of the Aro River, specifically located in the town of La Esperanza in the Angostura municipality of Bolívar state, officers of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) detected and destroyed a raft used for illegal mining in aquatic areas.

This was reported, through his Instagram account, by the strategic operational commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, who explained that during the operation the uniformed personnel destroyed a 13-inch engine; a compressor; a 20-liter drum and 10 meters of rope.
