FANB destroyed mining camp in the Carida sector of Amazonas

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) destroyed, in the Carida sector of the state of Amazonas, an illegal mining camp, reported the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.

Through a video released on his Instagram account, the senior military officer indicated that in the aforementioned space the uniformed personnel found and destroyed a mill; a motorbike bomb; two plastic drums containing gasoline, which were used to prey on the environment.

“In the state of Amazonas, according to our territorial legal system, mining and hydrocarbon exploitation is totally prohibited. Land in the national territory is not negotiated, it is not sold and it cannot be alienated,” said Hernández Lárez.
