FANB destroyed logistics equipment used by illegal miners in Amazonas

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), within the framework of Operation Carida 1-2024, destroyed logistical material used by illegal miners to prey on the environment in the state of Amazonas.
This was reported by Radio Miraflores, which, citing the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, explained that in the operation, seven motorcycles of various brands and models, four power plants, 28 water pumps, 18 rolls of hose, 22 cans and 4,100 liters of fuel were seized in the operation.
In addition, 1,100 meters of rope, 60 meters of carpet, 500 liters of oil, 70 liters of liquor, 900 liters of soda, 40 plastic containers, 54 boxes of beer, 29 shovels, 14 spikes, 5 hydrojets, 400 meters of canvas, 12 rubber boots, eight meters of iron grids, among others.
It is important to remember that our military institution remains deployed throughout the National Territory carrying out patrolling and scrutiny tasks to prevent the permanence of illegal groups in geographical areas protected by our legal system.
