FANB destroyed logistics camp for illegal miners on the banks of the Cunucunuma River in Amazonas

Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), within the framework of Operation Fog 2025, detected and destroyed in the Alto Orinoco municipality a logistics camp used by criminal groups dedicated to illegal mining, reported the Strategic Operational Commander (CEO) of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez.
Through a post on his Instagram account, the senior military officer explained that the camp was found by uniformed personnel while carrying out river and land patrols along the Cunucunuma River from the San Ramón Community to the El Porvenir Indigenous Community, in that town.
In the aforementioned camp, uniformed personnel found and destroyed 10 square meters of Tame-type carpet; two containers containing 75 and 20 liters of gasoline, respectively; two neoprene diving suits; 15 meters of 4-inch hose; an air compressor; a gas bottle; two horizontal refrigerators; an electrical plant; a chainsaw; 600 kilos of food.
