FANB destroyed camp and arrested three Colombians dedicated to illegal mining

During search work in the state of Amazonas, members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) detected and destroyed an illegal mining camp that was installed in the Caño del Diablo sector.
This was reported by the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, who indicated that elements were located in the space for the depredation of the environment, such as: two power plants; two motorcycle pumps; two industrial hammers; a gas bottle; three portable motors; 80 meters of hose; two axes; three flashlights; two fans and various tools.
In addition, in the aforementioned camp, uniformed personnel arrested three Colombian citizens who were found infraganti practicing illegal mining.
“In addition, during the patrol carried out, the capture for subsequent eviction and evacuation of two (02) male, two (02) female and three (03) minors of Venezuelan nationality, who were in the areas surrounding the 'Caño el Diablo' sector,” said the senior military officer.
