FANB apprehended two individuals for illegal carrying of weapons

Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), through patrolling and searching in the La Colorada sector of San Juan de Colón, Ayacucho municipality in the state of Táchira, arrested two citizens who were illegally carrying a shotgun.

This was reported by the strategic operational commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, through his X account, where he explained that the arrested also had 7 ammunition seized for the weapon in question.

“In Venezuela, permits and licenses for carrying weapons are suspended so that only the State can possess and use weapons of war and ammunition, and those that exist will be transferred to the order of the State without compensation or trial,” wrote the senior military official.
