FANB apprehended French drug trafficker in Carabobo

Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) apprehended, in the state of Carabobo, a French citizen who had an arrest warrant, with a red code from Interpol, for the crime of international drug trafficking.

This was reported by the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, who explained that the arrest of this citizen took place after our uniformed personnel processed intelligence provided by French authorities.

“Likewise, a citizen of Venezuelan nationality was captured, who acted as his cooperator,” he said, while stressing that the procedure was carried out within the framework of the Bilateral Cooperation Agreement on the fight against Drugs between Venezuela and France.
