FANB and OSC seized 2.4 tons of cocaine

The country's authorities are not resting in their fight against drug trafficking

Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), working together with the country's Public Security Agencies (CSOs), were able to seize 2,400 kilos of cocaine, said the Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, A/J Remigio Ceballos.

During the procedure carried out, with international cooperation, 820 nautical miles from the island of Martinique, the authorities captured 10 citizens.

In this regard, through his X account, the minister pointed out that, to date, in 4,000 procedures carried out in perfect civic - military - police union, 22 million 567 thousand 597 tons of illegal drugs have been seized.

In addition, in these actions, 5,235 people have been arrested and brought to the order of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
