FALCON/Cabello: President Maduro is the People's Candidate

This Thursday, May 2, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted that President Nicolás Maduro is the candidate of the People and the candidate of the opposition is that of imperialism.

“We have a candidate, who is not that he looks like the People; we have a candidate who is from the People, who is the People, who is one of us (...). Imperialism now has a candidate, its candidate, and they are on the street campaigning for it because it melts if the sun hits it,” Cabello said during the march in support of President Maduro and against the blockade in the Dabajuro municipality, Falcón state.

He stressed that President Maduro has stayed here, together with his people, fighting against sanctions and the blockade. “He has shown no sign of giving up nor is he going to give up, because I know him as a brother, Nicolás Maduro will always be on the side of the People, fighting with his people,” he emphasized.

He also called on the People to concentrate and work to achieve the victory of next July 28 in the presidential elections.
