Falcón: More than 5 thousand medical services were provided during the third edition of the Embracing Health marathon

Among the services, more than 700 surgeries stand out, performed throughout 21 hospitals and healthcare centers of the entity simultaneously

More than 5,000 medical services were provided during the third edition of the Embracing Health marathon, promoted by the Bolivarian Government of Falcón state.

According to the publication of the newspaper Últimas Noticias, more than 700 surgeries stand out among the services, performed throughout 21 hospitals and healthcare centers in the entity simultaneously.

“The strengthening of infrastructures in each municipality now allows us the capacity to attend to consultations, highly complex operations, sterilizations, ultrasound, cytology, vaccination, endoscopy, physiotherapy and drug delivery free of charge and with a highly trained staff made up of more than 3,000 professionals,” said Governor Víctor Clark.

He also noted that this program has treated more than 16,000 treatments in three editions, with an average of 5,000 resolved cases, and 2,100 surgeries.
