Falcón dominated the Under-15 and Under-17 National Weightlifting Championships

With a harvest of 46 medals (22 gold, 10 silver and 14 bronze), Falcón's delegation was crowned absolute champion of the Under-15 and Under-17 National Weightlifting Championships.

The event, held at the Ramiro Pérez Luciani gymnasium of the National Sports Institute (IND) in Caracas, brought together nearly 290 athletes and left an impressive number of 40 national records set.

It should be noted that in the overall sum of both categories, Falcón led the podium, accompanied by Monagas (12 golds, eight silvers and 13 bronzes/33 in total) and La Guaira (12 golds, eight silvers and three bronzes/23 in total).

In the breakdown by category, Falcón dominated the U-15 with 13 gold, five silver and six bronze medals (24), followed by Capital District (nine, six, zero/15) and Miranda (seven, two, zero/nine). While in the U-17 division, La Guaira commanded the title department with nine golds, six silvers and two bronzes (17), followed very closely by Falcón (nine, five, six/20) and Monagas (eight, six, 10/24).

The event, organized by the Venezuelan Weightlifting Federation (FVLP) with the support of the Ministry of Sports, served to measure regional potential and confirmed the consolidation of emerging talent.
