Expo Metal 2024 culminated with 750 business intentions between businessmen and economic actors

The Metal Iron, Steel and Aluminum Expo 2024 ended this Saturday, March 16, with a balance of 750 business intentions between businessmen, business associations and other economic actors, with companies attached to the Venezuelan Corporation of Guyana (CVG).

This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Productive Economy and President of the Supervisory Board of the CVG, Héctor Silva, in a press release published on the website of the Ministry of People's Power for Industries and National Production.

He points out that during his speech, Silva stated that this event, which took place from March 13 to 16 at the Club Caronoco, Bolivar state, consolidated the attraction of investment and the opening of new international markets for basic companies.

In this regard, he highlighted that they had an estimated 300 companies that would participate in this meeting, but the day closed with more than 450 companies present.

Silva also stressed that 330,000 tons of business intentions were generated in the aluminum sector in all his presentations, while in the iron sector a business intention of more than 11,000,000 tons is expected.

Entrepreneurs and media had the unique opportunity to learn about the operation and productive capacity of basic companies such as SIDOR, ALCASA, Ferrominera del Orinoco, COMSIGUA, VENALUM, Briquetera del Orinoco and BRIQCAR.

During the tours, visitors valued innovation in their production processes and the commitment of the working class of each of the CVG companies.
