Expo Guaicaipura Power 2026 highlights the productive boost in Miranda

With more than 150 exhibitors from the agri-food, metalworking, automotive and gastronomic sectors, the fifth edition of Expo Guaicaipura Potencia 2026 was inaugurated in Los Teques, Miranda state, to highlight the development of the real Venezuelan economy.

In this regard, the Minister of Industries and National Trade, Luis Antonio Villegas, attended the event and accompanied the mayor of the Guaicaipura municipality, Farith Fraija, during a tour of the stands to verify the region's industrial potential, according to a press release published in the account of the Ministry of People's Power for Industries and National Trade.

During the tour, Villegas highlighted the decisive role of local producers and entrepreneurs in the current economic context.

“Venezuela is experiencing significant economic growth thanks to the resilience and struggle of our people. We appreciate a lot of productive experiences within the framework of the Venezuela Feed Zero Hunger Plan,” he stressed.

He stressed that “entrepreneurship in Venezuela is a fundamental actor for the country's economic growth; we saw the presence of public banks carrying out the plan to digitize the currency. For this reason, within the framework of these 4F of entrepreneurship, we actively support the “F” of Feria, which consolidates these initiatives”.

He also pointed out that this showcase allows the Mirandina productive supply to be projected to international markets, strengthening institutional coordination under economic guidelines aimed at promoting commercial integration.

With these actions, the Bolivarian Government ratifies its support to the business sector through funding, training and productive chain tools to consolidate economic sovereignty.
