Executive Vice President: Venezuela is growing even above projections

The Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodríguez, assured that Venezuela is growing even above projections.

During the meeting with businessmen from the Federation of Chambers and Associations of Commerce and Production of Venezuela (FEDECÁMARAS), he recalled that according to the projections of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), Venezuela's growth was going to be 5%.

“Venezuela has already been growing for 14 consecutive quarters. This first half of the year, according to figures from the Central Bank of Venezuela, growth was 8.58%. We hope that the second semester will be better,” he said.

He stressed that both public and private entrepreneurs are working together. “All economic sectors united, because not only optimism unites us, but also love for Venezuela and the rejection of sanctions and the economic blockade, because we want a future in peace,” he added.

In that regard, he reflected: “We have made great progress despite the restrictions, imagine what we can achieve without any kind of sanction or blockade.”
