The Executive Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, reported this Monday about the arrest of 11 people involved in the terrorist attack against the Muscar gas pipeline, in Monagas, perpetrated a week ago.
From the Miraflores Palace, in statements to the media, Rodríguez pointed out that gangs have been dismantled within Petrleos de Venezuela (PDVSA), which, “in complicity with factors outside the industry, have wanted to cause property damage.”
He recalled that last Monday, November 11, an event took place in the gas distribution heart of Venezuela , in the state of Monagas. “There, a malicious tool-running maneuver by an external PDVSA company and with well-identified internal accomplices causes a large scale explosion on this infrastructure and on these facilities, which distributes 80% of the gas” to the country.
He explained that 11 people “responsible for these criminal acts have been deprived of their liberty and are under investigation.” He indicated that a foreigner is on the run. “He left the country the same day he carried out this malicious maneuver, which caused the explosion in this gas distribution heart.”
