Executive Vice President: Pension Protection Bill is based on social justice

The Executive Vice President of the
Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, assured that the Law for the Protection of Social Security Pensions
against the Anti-Imperialist Bloc is based on social
justice, which evokes our people and the most vulnerable, such as grandparents.
From the Legislative Palace,
Rodríguez, assured that the criminal blockade imposed by the North American government
has impacted the purchasing power not only of grandparents, but of workers.
“The blockade tortured the entire
population of Venezuela, without any distinction, but today we can say that we
have had several consecutive quarters of economic growth,” said the Vice President.
He also stated that the country's
economic growth is thanks to the efforts of workers in the public and private productive
sectors, “who have understood that the path that Venezuela
has to become a great power is national union.”
The Vice President said that in the first quarter of 2024, an increase of 68% in economic growth was achieved compared to the same time in 2023.
The Bill for the Protection of Social Security Pensions against the Anti-Imperialist Bloc, has 13 articles that seek special protection of pensions through contributions and contributions from private entrepreneurs.
