The executive secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - People's Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), Jorge Arreaza, congratulated Valdrack Jaentschke on his appointment as the new foreign minister of Nicaragua this Friday.

“We congratulate the appointment of comrade Valdrack Jaentschke as the new foreign minister of the Republic of Nicaragua. The ALBATCP is an irreplaceable symbol of the brotherhood between our countries,” Arreaza said on his Telegram channel.

In this regard, he highlighted the work carried out in favor of the union in recent years by former foreign minister Denis Moncada.

Valdrack Ludwing Jaentschke Whitaker was appointed as the new foreign minister on Thursday by President Daniel Ortega, to replace Moncada, for health reasons.

Jaentschke Whitaker, a career diplomat who has held other positions abroad representing his country, has just been an advisor to the president for international affairs, reported the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN).
