Executive approved the Budget Act for 2027 before the National Assembly

The Minister of Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, delivered, this Wednesday, to the National Assembly (AN) the Budget Law, the Debt Law and the Work Plan for the execution of financial resources for fiscal year 2027.

In statements offered to Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Menéndez highlighted that through these legal instruments it is established that all resources entering the country are directed to three fundamental areas. As he explained, the first area has to do with the income of the population, of purchasing power. The second point concerns everything related to equipment and infrastructure for public services. The third point has to do with the country's economic development.

For his part, the first vice-president of the AN, deputy Pedro Infante, stressed that the delivery of these documents has been carried out in accordance with the provisions of our Magna Carta, which clearly states that they must be submitted before October 15.

“Once received, these documents will go to each of the committees of the parliament for discussion. We must highlight the cooperation that exists between two branches of the State, such as the Executive and the Legislative to work according to the people, the needs of the People,” he said.
