57 years after the planting of one of the most iconic revolutionary leaders of the 20th century, Ernesto Rafael Guevara de la Serna, known as “Che” Guevara, a symbol of resistance and anti-imperialist struggle, Venezuela honors his historical legacy that the world capitalist right could not erase, even though he was viciously murdered.

On October 8, 1967, while fighting to expand the revolutionary struggle throughout Latin America, Che was wounded by the Bolivian army, whose Government was subordinate to the criminal forces of the North American empire, but it was on October 9, the next day, that the CIA ordered his shooting.

“I think that Che is one of the great men in our history (...) that's why Fidel didn't exaggerate when he said in that speech, if someone wants his children to be the revolutionary, the man, the humanist, let's be like Che, why? , because it's like lightning to follow, like a living path, so that's Che,” said Eternal Commander Hugo Chávez, of the Heroic Guerrilla, in the documentary El Horizonte According to Che.

Ernesto Guevara was an Argentinian doctor, politician, guerrilla fighter, writer, journalist and revolutionary, one of the ideologues and commanders of the Cuban Revolution. He participated from the armed uprising until 1965 in the organization of the Cuban State.
