The last day of the FUTVE League experienced an absolute drama. On the afternoon of this Saturday, October 17, Trujillanos FC managed to seal its stay in the First Division after coming off an electrifying match against Deportivo La Guaira 2-1 at the UCV Olympic stadium.

The Mountain Warriors managed to score the three points needed not to descend, thanks to a goal from striker Christian Santos at 88', who sent the ball to the back of the nets to complete the comeback.

The Trujillanos celebration was a shock for Anzoátegui FC who, despite the victory thanks to a double by Edanyilber Navas 62' and 85' against Zamora FC, was doomed to decline.
