Emilio Arvelo: The iconic voice of happy birthday in Venezuela (+birthday)

On November 9, 1935, Emilio Teodoro Giannotti Arvelo was born, better known in the musical world as Emilio Arvelo, a Venezuelan singer and composer, interpreter of the song Ay Qué Qué Noche Tan Preciosa, a traditional icon during birthday parties in the country.
He began as an amateur radio fan in the mid-1960s on the television program La Puerta de la Fama, broadcast on Televisa, (now Venevisión).
He sang llanera music in the program Brindis a Venezuela, which was broadcast on the radio station Radiodifusora Venezuela.
In addition, he participated in several musical programs on Venezuelan television. His first album was signed with Discomoda, a llanera music production. But it was the song Happy Birthday by composer Luis Cruz that propelled him to fame in 1964.
He died in the city of Los Teques on March 15, 2021 due to COVID-19.
