The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, expressed his support for the agreement unanimously approved today in the National Assembly, through which legislators repudiated the threats of the United States government against Venezuela, as well as the call for comprehensive dialogue to build an electoral schedule for the presidential elections.
“Here is the agreement unanimously approved today in the National Assembly, repudiating the gringo threats against Venezuela... I support with all my strength the call for a comprehensive and inclusive dialogue to establish the 2024 electoral schedule... We are a guarantee of Peace... Choices Now... “, wrote the national president on his account on the social network X.
The president referred to the announcement made by the spokesman of the U.S. State Department, Matthew Miller, who threatened not to renew licenses for Venezuelan oil and gas if the national government does not agree to his requests and conditions in domestic political matters in the country.
